Did You Know?

The United Nations (UN) estimates that over 150 million girls and women around the world have undergo some forms of female genital mutilation (FGM). This practice is found in several countries in Africa, in the Middle East and among immigrant communities around the world.

The practice has been banned in several countries yet, it is still ongoing. In spite of many sensibilisation campaigns no significant reduction have been observed in the number of young girls still being mutilated every day.

Why cut it when it can be restored? Rebuilding a clitoris will have the most dissuasive power. If adopted by concerned countries, we will see a significant reduction and/or elimination of FGM.

Together let's make a difference.
